Ensuring customer satisfation

Castia Stone takes great pride in a finished project and the complete satisfaction of our customers. We manufacture a high quality product and ensure a superior Castia Stone custom design. The quality of the final installation is equally important to the product and design. For this reason, we have developed an extensive distributor/installation certification program which trains and certifies all our distributors and installers on Castia Stone standards for design and sales procedure as well as proper installation of Castia Stone. This certification ensures that Castia Stone is installed in accordance with our manufacturer specifications.

Certified installer training

Prior to becoming authorized and certified, distributors and installers must complete a training class and participate in hands-on training which takes place both on and off the job site. Working closely with our distributors and installers and making follow-up visits to the site allows Castia Stone to provide the highest quality workmanship and service. Castia Stone stands behind our distributors and installers, and we are dedicated to providing continual service and support to our customers.

All training classes are at the Castia Stone factory in Portland, Oregon. Usually, classes start at 8:30 am and go until 2:00 pm. Lunch is provided. Class length may vary depending on attendance and experience level of participants. Castia Stone will schedule follow-up, on-site training at class time if required. Note: Proper installation of Castia Stone is contingent upon all other aspects of construction completed in direct compliance with local building codes and proper engineering and architectural design.

Product specifications and testing

The Castia Stone product line has been tested by an independent testing agency for compliance with the reguirements of the Uniform Building Code (UBC) for Precast Stone Veneer (ICBO; AC51). Castia Stone Specification Data (PDF - 73 K)

3D Castia Stone AutoCAD and VIZ Render design tools

Castia Stone provides a complete 3D library of our trim pieces for users of AutoCAD 2000 or newer. For users of AutoDesk VIZ Render 4.0 or newer, there is a library of custom paterns designed specifically for our products in a range of popular colors.

2D Castia Stone AutoCAD design tools

Castia Stone offers design tools for user's of AutoCAD version R14 or newer. These tools are in a 2D format allowing designers to represent this elegant European-style stone on their own unique projects. Included in the design tools package are the 2D trim blocks, 2D trim profiles and hatch patterns for the various Castia Stone siding options.
